Trek Capital Management LLC

Stuart Walton is the owner of Trek Capital Management LLC and General Partner of Reindeer Trek LP.

A dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, Mr. Walton graduated from McGill University (Montreal) in 1983 with a M.B.A. in Finance. He was a proprietary equity and fixed income trader for Wood Gundy Corp in New York City from 1983 until 1988. Mr. Walton was employed by Volpe, Welty & Co. and Pacific Growth Equities in San Francisco as an equity research salesman from 1989 until 1992. He joined Greenville Capital Mgmt in late 1992 to co-manage $300 million in assets dedicated to emerging growth stocks. He also received his C.F.A. designation in 1992. Mr. Walton left Greenville Capital in 1994 to establish his own hedge fund, Reindeer Capital LP, which he successfully managed until its closure on June 30, 1999. Mr. Walton received the Altvest Factor award in 1999 for the performance of Reindeer over its lifetime, and was featured in Jack Schwager’s Stock Market Wizards: Interviews With America's Top Traders (HarperCollins 2001). Mr. Walton ran Caribou Select LP for a year in 2001 prior to launching Reindeer Trek LP in 2002.
